Nola By The Numbers: 2014 School Performance Scores

 Each year, the Louisiana Department of Education (LDOE) publishes School Performance Scores (SPS). The Cowen Institute provides a review of the LDOE data (see Appendix B for data sources) in order to help the public and policymakers better understand school quality in New Orleans. This report explains the 2013-14 SPS calculation, as well as changes in the grading scale associated with the transition to Common Core and higher standards.
